I took a little road trip a few days ago. The ride there was awesome! Sunny, 85 degrees, a nice collection of cd's for the road and some unparalleled comfort provided by BMW. The visit was terrific! The ride home? Not so much. Severe thunderstorms, tornadoes and hail forced me to pull over in Taylorsville, Indiana half way home. There is something very unpleasant about laying on the floor of a rest area bathroom in Indiana at 11PM with a couple dozen strangers (some crying...no, not me!) while a tornado is ripping by overhead!!! While hearing all of this on the radio I started to freak out a bit. All I could think about was being home with my wife and my boys, hoping that all this rain didn't reach Illinois and wash away my recent application of weed n' feed and of course updating Planet Tomek on time! It is so nice to be home...Have a Happy Father's Day weekend!!!
