There have been a few (of my favorite) webcomic artists that I have had some email conversations with over the past few months and I am simply amazed at how cool and helpful they have been. Honestly, I wasn't sure if any of the current greats would even write to me...being so new at this. I hoped I wasn't just another new webcomic wannabe they would say "yeah, ok. good luck. whatever..." It is not like that at all. Being honest and sincere in everything I say and do must come through (to some degree) when communicating. Educated, creative people are quite able to see through the b.s. and in my first year I have learned that this community is about the passion to create and share something, whatever it takes. Great people. No b.s.! This has been one of the funnest and most creative phases in my entire life!
