Part of the inspiration for the Camel Tomek character is from a dear friend and the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for - Uncle Roy. He's always full of enthusiasm any time you stop by to visit - and there's always something in the cookin' pot! It's such great fun to have a rum & cola with him and hear his stories about growing up in Jamaica. Being a 25 year old guy at the time we met, I didn't realize or appreciate his wisdom like I do now. He, his family and his friends are such wonderful people and I am a better person for knowing them. This page is a toast to Uncle Roy! We'll see you this summer, mon!!!!
